Main Arguments

God is an unjust tyrant.

God hardens people's hearts to cause them to "sin" against him and then punishes them along with other innocents for it. On many occasions, God orders people to kill children simply because their parents worship other gods.

Satan is well-behaved by comparison.

Satan plays a very small part in the Bible and only negatively impacts a few people in the book of Job at God's command.

Satan saves the world from God.

According to the Christian salvation story, God plans to punish all people eternally for their sins, but Jesus dies to pay for those sins. Satan plays a crucial role in bringing about this sacrifice to save the world from God's eternal damnation.

Jesus was a humanist.

While Jesus did speak on matters of faith, God, and the afterlife, he was far more concerned with bettering the lives of the poor in a very worldly and material way.

The Bible is altogether unreliable.

The appendix showcases passages in the Bible that contradict each other in meaningful ways, contradict Christian practices, give bizarre instructions for controlling women, or tell comically over-the-top stories of people with super-powers (such as Daniel using alchemy to make a dragon explode).

Why is there a girl on the cover?

Because she's beautiful

Just like some Christians picture their Jesus as John Lennon in a bathrobe while others picture their Jesus in a tuxedo T-shirt with giant eagle's wings singing lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd, I like to picture my Satan as a woman. I play a lot of video games (anime games in particular) with female protagonists, and I find female characters easier to admire and care about than male ones.
Aside from that, women have been long associated with the Satanic due to Eve's role in the Fall. They have been most often branded servants of Satan as witches, and the feminist movement itself has often been accused of being a Satanic movement. I thought it only right that a woman should appear on the cover of the first book that truly celebrates the Biblical character of Satan - antagonist to the god and apostles whose writings have been used to put down women for many centuries.
